BlueSix is a small, independent WordPress studio in Sydney, founded and run by me, Craig. I’ve been designing and building for the web for more than 25 years, and I’m still hands-on with every project, from UX and design through to custom themes, plugins, API integrations and server infrastructure. I’m also the head moderator of r/WordPress, a community of more than 300,000 members.

A long term client, BlueSix started working with BSC over a decade ago. BSC runs most of their business using Mind Body Online, and need an online booking system that had tight integration with the MBO. BlueSix built a custom booking form from the ground up, which leveraged the MBO API, pulling in various bits of data like clinic locations, services, rooms, date/time availabilities. A complex API build, combined with a large focus on making the UX process as seamless as possible on mobile, where over 90% of the BSC's clients access the site. Check it out.

We built several project marketing websites for a large residential property development company, Aland which were mainly used as a sales tool in Aland's project viewing offices. Featuring videos, galleries, floorplans. We built a custom floorplan mapping tool to allow prospective buyers to search for their ideal apartment, based on their requirements like the number of rooms, bathrooms, floor level and price.

Landing page and entry form for Lion Nathan's White Claw seltzer beverage promotion. We also implemented Cloudflare's new Turnstile antispam CAPTCHA tool, as we were seeing more bots getting through with Google's ReCAPTCHA v3. Visual design and project management by Yakusan.

A fun little internal staff engagement project for Workday. Was great to get my hands dirty with some old school HTML, JS and CSS coding. Staff click the puzzle pieces which flip over and a popup video plays automatically. A collab project via Tracy James Creative

A large project, consisting of 10 websites for a suite of commercial shopping centres located throughout NSW. To save time and cost, the popular "Salient" WordPress theme was used, so that the sites could be delivered in just 2 days per site.
